There are three types of data transmission in the computer field. Simplex, Half Duplex and Full Duplex Transmission modes describe the direction of flow of signals between two connected networking devices.

कप्यूटर क्षेत्र में डाटा ट्रांसमिशन तीन तरह से होता है Simplex, Half Duplex और Full Duplex ट्रांसमिशन मोड आपस में कनेक्ट दो Networking Device के बीच सिग्नल के Flow की दिशा का वर्णन करता है।

What is simplex communication?

In simplex transmission mode, communication between sender and receiver is in only one direction, that means data sender can transmit data only and receiver can only receive data. Receiver cannot reply back to sender.

Let us understand the simplex transmission mode better with the example of keyboard and monitor. The keyboard can only transmit input to the monitor, and the monitor can only receive input and display it on the screen. The monitor cannot send any information back to the keyboard.

simplex transmission mode में सेन्डर और रिसीवर के बीच Communication केवल एक दिशा में होता है इसका मतलब यह है की डाटा सेन्डर केवल डाटा को ट्रांसमिट कर सकता है और रिसीवर सिर्फ डाटा को रिसीव कर सकता है। सेन्डर को रिसीवर उल्टा जवाब नहीं दे सकता है।

कीबोर्ड और मॉनिटर के उदाहरण के साथ simplex transmission mode को बेहतर ढंग से समझ सकते हैं। कीबोर्ड केवल इनपुट को मॉनिटर पर प्रसारित कर सकता है, और मॉनिटर केवल इनपुट प्राप्त कर सकता है और इसे स्क्रीन पर प्रदर्शित कर सकता है। मॉनिटर किसी भी जानकारी को कीबोर्ड पर वापस नहीं भेज सकता है।

What is Half Duplex communication?

In half-duplex transmission mode, the communication between the sender and the receiver occurs from both sides, but at a time, a device can either send or receive information, in which both the sender and the receiver can transmit and receive information. Only one job can be done at a time.

The walkie-talkie is a very good example of a Half Duplex Transmission Mode. We can talk to each other through walkie-talkie but they have to speak one by one, in this both cannot speak together.

Half-duplex transmission mode में सेन्डर और रिसीवरके बीच Communication दोनों तरफ से होता है लेकिन एक समय पर एक डिवाइस या तो इनफार्मेशन को सेंड कर सकती है या रिसीव इसमें सेन्डर और रिसीवर दोनों ही Information को Transmit कर सकते हैं और प्राप्त कर सकते हैं लेकिन एक समय में केवल एक ही काम हो सकता है।

वॉकी-टॉकी एक Half Duplex Transmission Mode का बहुत ही अच्छा उदाहरण है। वॉकी-टॉकी के माध्यम से हम एक दूसरे से बात कर सकते है लेकिन उन्हें एक-एक करके बोलना होगा इसमें दोनों एक साथ नहीं बोल सकते।

What is Full Duplex communication?

In full duplex transmission mode, there can be simultaneous communication between the sender and the receiver. Both sender and receiver can receive and send information simultaneously at the same time.

Mobile and telephone is a very good example of a Full Duplex Transmission Mode. When we talk to each other through mobile, then both are free to speak and listen at the same time.

Full duplex transmission mode में सेन्डर और रिसीवर के बीच एक साथ कम्युनिक्शन हो सकता है। सेन्डर और रिसीवर दोनों एक ही समय में एक साथ  Information को Receive और Send कर सकते हैं।

मोबाइल और टेलीफोन एक Full Duplex Transmission Mode का बहुत ही अच्छा उदाहरण है। जब मोबाइल के माध्यम से हम एक दूसरे के से बात कर करते है तो उस समय दोनों एक ही समय में बोलने और सुनने के लिए स्वतंत्र होते हैं।
