USSD stands for Unstructured Supplementary Services Data. This payment service *99# works on Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) channel. This service allows mobile banking transactions using basic feature mobile phone, there is no need to have mobile internet data facility for using USSD based mobile banking.

Banking customers can avail this service by dialing *99#, a “Common number across all Telecom Service Providers (TSPs)” on their mobile phone and transact through an interactive menu displayed on the mobile screen.

यूएसएसडी का अर्थ है अनस्ट्रक्चर्ड सप्लीमेंट्री सर्विसेज डेटा। यह भुगतान सेवा *99# अनस्ट्रक्चर्ड सप्लीमेंट्री सर्विस डेटा (यूएसएसडी) चैनल पर काम करती है। यह सेवा मूल सुविधा मोबाइल फोन का उपयोग करके मोबाइल बैंकिंग लेनदेन की अनुमति देती है, यूएसएसडी आधारित मोबाइल बैंकिंग का उपयोग करने के लिए मोबाइल इंटरनेट डेटा सुविधा की आवश्यकता नहीं है।

बैंकिंग ग्राहक अपने मोबाइल फोन पर *99# सभी टेलीकॉम सर्विस प्रोवाइडर्स (टीएसपी) के लिए एक सामान्य नंबर डायल करके और मोबाइल स्क्रीन पर प्रदर्शित एक इंटरैक्टिव मेनू के माध्यम से लेनदेन करके इस सेवा का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

How to get it: इसे कैसे प्राप्त करें:

·         Provide KYC (Know Your Customer) information to open a new account.

·         Mobile no. should be linked with bank a/c.

·         Register for USSD/Mobile Banking.

·         Get MMID (Mobile Money Identifier)

·         Get MPIN (Mobile PIN)

·         Registered mobile number with any phone (feature or smart)
