What is UMANG APP

UMANG is a mobile app designed to run e-governance in India under Digital India. The UMANG app has been developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD). The full form is Unified Mobile App for New Age Governance. It was launched in November 2017. UMANG App provides benefits of citizen centric services to Indian citizens apart from Central Government, State Government and Local Bodies.

UMANG एक मोबाईल एप है जिसे डिजिटल इंडिया के तहत भारत में ई-गवर्नेंस चलाने के लिए बनाया गया हैं l उमंग एप को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रोद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY) एवं राष्ट्रीय ई-गवर्नेंस डिवीजन (NeGD) द्वारा विकसित किया गया हैं l UMANG की फुल फॉर्म Unified Mobile App for New Age Governance होता हैंl इसे नवम्बर 2017 में लॉन्च किया गया था l उमंग एप भारतीय नागरिकों को केंद्र सरकार, राज्य सरकार तथा स्थानीय निकायों के अलावा अन्य नागरिक केंद्रित सेवाओं का लाभ प्रदान करता हैं l

Features and Benefits of UMANG App:

Seamless integration: With the Umang app, consumers can enjoy seamless integration with all government related services including Aadhaar, Digi Locker, and PayGov, to name a few. You can also check where Passport Seva Kendra’s are located and book appointments.

Easy access: This e-governance app is not just limited to smart phones. You can also use it on a desktop, tablet or through SMS.

Customer service: Umang has a dedicated customer support team that resolves all issues that a user may have. The support team is available on all days of the week from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Single app for all services: The best part about the Umang app is that it a single platform for over 100 government services. Users will be able to access a number of services on a unified platform using a range of different channels.

 

निर्बाध एकीकरण: उमंग ऐप के साथ, उपभोक्ता आधार, डिगोलॉकर और पेगॉव सहित सभी सरकारी सेवाओं के साथ सहज एकीकरण का आनंद ले सकते हैं। आप यह भी देख सकते हैं कि पासपोर्ट सेवा केंद्र कहाँ स्थित हैं और अपॉइंटमेंट बुक करें।

आसान पहुंच: यह ई-गवर्नेंस ऐप सिर्फ स्मार्टफोन तक ही सीमित नहीं है। आप इसे डेस्कटॉप, टैबलेट या एसएमएस के जरिए भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।

ग्राहक सेवा: उमंग के पास एक समर्पित ग्राहक सहायता टीम है जो एक उपयोगकर्ता के सभी मुद्दों का समाधान करती है। सहायता टीम सप्ताह के सभी दिनों में सुबह 8 बजे से रात 8 बजे तक उपलब्ध रहती है।

सभी सेवाओं के लिए सिंगल ऐप: उमंग ऐप की सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि यह 100 से अधिक सरकारी सेवाओं के लिए सिंगल प्लेटफॉर्म है। उपयोगकर्ता विभिन्न चैनलों की एक श्रृंखला का उपयोग करके एक एकीकृत मंच पर कई सेवाओं का उपयोग करने में सक्षम होंगे।

 

How to Use Umang App

• Step 1: Download the Umang app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Step 2: Create your ‘Profile’ by providing personal details such as name, mobile number, age there is also an option to upload a profile photo.
• Step 3: You can also link your Aadhaar number to the app and other social media accounts.
• Step 4: After profile creation, you can log in and go to the ‘Sort & Filter’ section to browse through the services and categories.
• Step 5: Go to the search option to look for particular services.

 

·         चरण 1: उमंग ऐप को Google Play Store या Apple App Store से डाउनलोड करें।

·         चरण 2: नाम, मोबाइल नंबर, उम्र जैसे व्यक्तिगत विवरण प्रदान करके अपना 'प्रोफाइल' बनाएं यहाँ प्रोफाइल फोटो अपलोड करने का विकल्प भी है।

·         चरण 3: आप अपने आधार नंबर को ऐप और अन्य सोशल मीडिया खातों से भी लिंक कर सकते हैं।

·         चरण 4: प्रोफ़ाइल निर्माण के बाद, आप लॉग इन कर सकते हैं और सेवाओं और श्रेणियों के माध्यम से ब्राउज़ करने के लिए 'सॉर्ट और फ़िल्टर' अनुभाग में जा सकते हैं।

·         चरण 5: विशेष सेवाओं को देखने के लिए खोज विकल्प पर जाएं।

 

What is Digital Locker

Digital Locker or DigiLocker is a kind of virtual locker, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July 2015. DigiLocker was launched under the Digital India campaign. It is mandatory for you to have Aadhar card to open DigiLocker account. DigiLocker Citizens of the country can store any government certificate with PAN card, voter ID, passport etc. You can upload documents of maximum 50MB and you can also upload documents by creating folders.

डिजिटल लॉकर या डिजीलॉकर एक तरह का वर्चुअल लॉकर है, जिसे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने जुलाई 2015 में लॉन्च किया था l डिजीलॉकर को डिजिटल इंडिया अभियान के तहत शुरू किया गया था l डिजीलॉकर खाता खोलने के लिए आपके पास आधार कार्ड का होना अनिवार्य है l डिजीलॉकर में देश के नागरिक पैन कार्ड, वोटर आईडी, पासपोर्ट आदि के साथ कोई भी सरकारी प्रमाण-पत्र स्टोर कर सकते हैं l आप अधिकतम 50MB की डाक्यूमेंट्स ही अपलोड कर सकते हैं और आप फोल्डर बना कर भी डाक्यूमेंट्स अपलोड कर सकते हैं l

How to Create Account on DigiLocker? : DigiLocker पर अकाउंट कैसे बनाएं?

·         First of all go to digilocker.gov.in or digitallocker.gov.in

·         After that click on Sign Up on the right.

·         A new page will open where enter your mobile number.

·         After this DigiLocker will send an OTP to the mobile number entered by you.

·         After that set your username and password.

·         Now you can use DigiLocker.

 

·         सबसे पहले digilocker.gov.in या digitallocker.gov.in पर जाएं l

·         इसके बाद दाईं ओर Sign Up पर क्लिक करें l

·         नया पेज ओपन होगा जहां अपना मोबाइल नंबर दर्ज करें l

·         इसके बाद DigiLocker आपके द्वारा दर्ज मोबाइल नंबर पर एक ओटीपी भेजेगा जिसे दर्ज करें l

·         इसके बाद अपना यूजरनेम और पासवर्ड सेट करें l

·         अब आप DigiLocker का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं l

How to Upload Documents in DigiLocker? : DigiLocker में डाक्यूमेंट्स कैसे अपलोड करें?

·         Login to Digi Locker.

·         Go to Uploaded Documents on the left and click on Upload.

·         Write a short description about the document.

·         After that click on upload button.

 

·         DigiLocker पर लॉग इन करें l

·         बाईं ओर Uploaded Documents पर जाएं और अपलोड पर क्लिक करें l

·         डॉक्यूमेंट के बारे में संक्षिप्त विवरण लिखें l

·         इसके बाद अपलोड बटन पर क्लिक करें l
